Sweet Summertime

Each summer you get to start things off right with a birthday.  The big birthday boy turned 3 years old this year.  Wow does this mom feel old! Your sister showered you with gifts and you had a blast.  Lots of family, cake and toys!


Now there is lots of time to hang out with Daddy and sissy.  Check you both out! So proud!

Naughty Boy

You are truly a naughty little boy most days.  The constant "no", the whining, and all the other not nice things just remind me that you aren't perfect.  Lucky for you, there is no need for you to be perfect.  You will always be perfect to me.  I will always love you no matter how sassy you can be.

Someday, when you are all grown up I will get the pleasure of telling lots of stories about the things you said and did when you were two.  I'm looking forward to it!

Dear Jordan,

When I was a kid, I always wanted to write a novel.  I would constantly start writing and would always run out of ideas.  I have finally found an idea that I am going to try to stick with.  I want to write to you, my son.  Someday maybe you will read these messages and will understand your mom a little better.

So in honor of my first letter to you, I want to tell you a few things I love about you.

You are sweet, kind, loving, and absolutely adorable.  Your constant story telling and laughing brightens my day.  You are the best part of my day and I love coming home and spending time with you.  

There are times you drive me crazy...and you are only 2!  It makes me a little nervous for when you are older, but I will always love you.  You will always be my heart!
